The North Peace Community Foundation is community-driven and community-led, and there are many ways you can help us build the community you dream of. You can make a one-time charitable gift towards a current open fund, or work with us to establish an endowment fund to start building your legacy. You can start a fund with as little as $85/month towards the minimum fund amount of $5,000.
Ready Relief & Recovery Fund
The mission of this fund is to extend a helping hand to the wildfire-affected communities. It aims to ensure that these communities have access to the resources they need for recovery and resilience building. The fund also seeks to support community organizations, empowering them to address the enduring challenges faced by these disaster-stricken areas.
Coastal GasLink Community Fund
Coastal GasLink has established this Fund to create a sustainable and lasting impact throughout the North Peace region for community service organizations which work in the areas of safety, education, environment, and community resiliency.
North Peace Savings Community Legacy Fund
The North Peace Savings Community Legacy Fund’s mission is to bolster local charitable projects which support personal success through financial literacy, provide healthy living supports, improve access and availability of food, and support families with children, all of which enhance the health and wellness of communities within the Northern Rockies and North Peace regions.
100 Women Who Care FSJ
100 Women Who Care Fort St John is a group open to all women, who come together to make an immediate, direct, and positive impact on our community by donating $100 each. A local charity or organization is selected by group members and voted on at the semi-annual meeting. Watch how the group's commitment of $100 per person turns into a $10,000+ donation to a local charity in one evening. Do that twice per year and witness how $20,000 can improve the lives of our neighbours when placed in the hands of those working to serve our community. Simple concept, big impact. #thePOWERof100
City of Fort St. John Legacy Fund
Fort St. John's Legacy Fund is a community fund created in 2022 to ensure that the City's charitable and non-profit organizations have the support they need to help build and sustain the community for generations.
City of Fort St. John Grants in Aid
Help us continue the long legacy established by the City of Fort St. John to continue to providing operational funding supports to community service organizations which operate within the City of Fort St. John and add to the quality of life within the community by providing: programs or facilities used by youths, seniors or other special groups; facilities for public use; programs to the public; supportive housing for people with special needs; preserve heritage important to the community character; preserve an environmentally and ecologically significant area of the City; cultural or educational programs to the public which promote community spirit, cohesiveness or tolerance; or offer services to the public with a formal partnership with the City.
North Peace Community Foundation Operations Endowment
This operating endowment fund was started by a generous gift from the Foundation's principal founder in 2022, the City of Fort St. John, and will be used to support the administration costs of the North Peace Community Foundation, helping to maximize the gift-giving power of donations to other Funds.
Endowment Funds
The North Peace Community Foundation establishes endowment funds with your gifts to create a permanent legacy in BC’s North Peace region. This growing pool of funds is professionally invested, managed and responsibly stewarded so that each year, a percentage of the funds are granted to charitable organizations and causes that mean the most to you.
