NPCF Creates Ready Relief & Recovery Fund of the North Peace & Northern Rockies
The Ready Relief & Recovery Fund of the North Peace & Northern Rockies is a vital campaign aimed at supporting the communities impacted by recent wildfires in the North Peace and Northern Rockies regions. This crucial initiative seeks to extend a helping hand to communities and community-based organizations during the critical evacuation periods, and in facilitating community recovery and resilience in the aftermath of this and future disasters.
The devastating effects of these wildfires have been profound, with families displaced, homes damaged, and lives disrupted. Recognizing the urgency for unified assistance, the North Peace Community Foundation has launched the Ready Relief & Recovery Fund to support where and when it’s needed most.
The mission of this fund is to extend a helping hand to the wildfire-affected communities. It aims to ensure that these communities have access to the resources they need for recovery and resilience building. The fund also seeks to support community organizations, empowering them to address the enduring challenges faced by these disaster-stricken areas.
You can financially support this crucial initiative by making a charitable donation. Cash donations up to $5000 may be made through the Foundation’s online portal. For donations over $5000, donations of securities, or for EFT information, please contact the Foundation at 778-576-1669 or by email, susan@northpeacecf.com. Donations by cheque can be mailed to: PO Box 378, RPO Downtown, Fort St. John, BC, V1J 6W7.
