Vital Community Conversation: ReThinking Drinking

The North Peace Community Foundation, in partnership with the Canadian Alcohol Use Disorder Society, invites community members, business leaders, and service providers to a FREE educational workshop on Friday, March 7, 2025. This event will provide critical insights into Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), its impacts, and how the community can work together to foster a healthier relationship with alcohol.

Workshop Details:

  • Location: Northern Lights College, Atrium

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with coffee and treats)

  • Registration: FREE

Alcohol Use Disorder is a serious but treatable condition affecting individuals and families in our community. This workshop aims to increase awareness, promote understanding, and drive collaborative solutions. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Learn from care providers and experts about local treatment options.

• Hear powerful firsthand stories from individuals with lived experience.

• Connect with fellow community members, business leaders, and service providers.

• Share knowledge and perspectives to foster a healthier drinking culture.

• Explore workplace policies and initiatives that support those affected by AUD.
