The North Peace Community Foundation is excited to announce that the 2025 grant cycle for the North Peace Savings & Credit Union Legacy Fund is officially open! Managed through the North Peace Community Foundation in partnership with BEEM, this fund is a testament to our shared commitment to building a thriving, healthy, and resilient North Peace and Northern Rockies region.
Whether you’re championing community wellness, advancing financial literacy, or supporting families, this is your opportunity to bring new ideas to life.
What’s Available?
In 2025, we are proud to offer $50,000 in total funding. Community service organizations can apply for grants ranging from $5000 to $50,000. We’re looking to support innovative and impactful projects that align with at least on of this funds key focus areas:
Empowering personal success by strengthening financial literacy in our communities.
Promoting healthy living by supporting initiatives that lead to healthier lives.
Enhancing food accessibility to improve access to nutritious and affordable food.
Supporting families with children by delivering meaningful programs for families and kids.
Please note that partial funding may be considered depending on demand and project quality.
Is Your Organization Eligible?
If your organization is a registered charity or qualified donee with the Canada Revenue Agency, or a registered non-profit in good standing with BC Societies, and your organization serves the residents of the Northern Rockies and/or Northern Peace regions, you’re encouraged to apply!
Important Dates:
Applications open: May 23, 2025
Deadline to apply: June 13, 2025 at 12:00 noon
Applicants notified: By June 27, 2025
Projects must be completed within 12 months of the start date listed in your application, and final reports are due three months after project completion.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind:
We are focused on new initiatives, this is not the right fund for ongoing programs, operational costs beyond 15%, travel, debt coverage, or religious or elite sports activities. Make sure to review the full list of ineligible requests in our grant guidelines.
